Danielle and Von wanted to turn their courthouse elopement into a home event. After thinking it over, they chose to elope in their own backyard with close family and a few neighbors to celebrate. A small ceremony at home offers a uniquely sweet and intimate experience that larger venues often cannot match. The familiar surroundings bring a sense of comfort and warmth, allowing guests to feel more connected and relaxed. Every detail, from the décor to the personal touches, reflects the couple’s true personality, making the occasion deeply meaningful. This close-knit setting encourages genuine interactions and memorable moments, creating a heartfelt celebration that resonates long after the day ends.
I have the absolute pleasure of assisting Danielle in the planning of her 2026 Wedding Reception, which originally was not going to include the ceremony itself. Therefore, I was incredibly excited to receive the special request to cater their intimate in-home elopement. This opportunity allowed me to join them in their celebration and truly get to know the couple and their wonderful family on a more personal level.
It was such a peaceful day…
