
So you submitted your Contact form… now What to expect at your initial consultation.
When you decide to hire a wedding planner, you typically have a consultation first to discuss your needs and wedding details. Each planner approaches this differently, but here’s a general overview of what to expect in a consultation with Honey Bee Events, from the first contact to sending you the contract.
Initial Inquiry
I reply to your contact form inquiry within 24 hours. First I will check my availability for your preferred Wedding date and provide a consultation date and time to better understand your wedding day wishes. I typically conduct consultations via phone for your convenience. If you are nearby St. Augustine, Florida, I can meet at a local venue for coffee or bubbly. Once we confirm the date, time, and location, you will be booked, and I look forward to meeting you.
The Consultation
The meeting will start with introductions. I want to know who your are and what your wedding day dreams look like. We’ll discuss guest numbers, venue style, inspiration, colors, stationery designs, unique wedding day happenings and your overall wedding budget. We will discuss what you realistically want to spend and help identify your priorities. During our call I will be able to give you an estimate for my planning services prior to the official proposal. The overall meeting shouldn’t last longer than an hour.
The Proposal
After our consultation, I will create a proposal based on our discussion, including wedding ideas and the best services for you. The proposal will detail the services, cost, and terms to review. When ready to book Honey Bee Events simply sign the contract and pay the deposit, and the planning begins!
